Josh Blatter – History of Yoga
Josh Blatter is a Yoga and Meditation instructor in Encinitas, CA. Josh is best known for his skillful use of language, understanding of the human body, subtle anatomy, and the ancient tradition to guide his students into the heart of Yoga. Josh believes that the real art of the practice is strongly rooted in our ability to bring the body and mind into balance.
In 2012, Josh stumbled upon a lineage that would shape the course of his practice and teachings forever. It inaugurated an ongoing and in depth studies with Chase Bossart, a student of T.K.V. Desikachar. This immersion into the healing and therapeutic aspects of Yoga would eventually lead to his first extended stay in India and studies at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai. His trip to India stoked the fire within that continues to keep the passion alive.

Nicole Mullins – Working with the Yoga Wall
Nicole has been a physical therapist for over 20 years and has worked in private clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics, exposing me to a wide array of orthopedic, neurological, and complex medical conditions. She prides herself in being able to meet your body where it’s at each day and develop a specific treatment protocol to meet your individual goals.
It’s important to Nicole to stay as educated as possible on the body and I’m constantly taking courses to enhance my knowledge base. Here are my current certifications and qualifications:
- MPT or Masters in Physical Therapy – 6 years of formal schooling and am board certified to help heal your physical injuries
- C-IAYT or Certification from the International Association of Yoga Therapists – Certified and trained to help you use yoga therapeutically to heal your ailments (most yoga teachers are only qualified to teach poses, not do therapeutic bodywork).
- E-RYT or Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher – Teach yoga instructors how to take their classes to the next level and help their students heal therapeutically.
- Visceral Manipulation – Identify and treat subtle restrictions in the body that lead to your pain.
Combining physical therapy, yoga, and visceral manipulation allows her to access the wisdom in all three modalities and offer a unique and comprehensive approach to healing.
