"I started going to The House of Yogi about two months ago. Familiar with yoga, but still a beginner, I felt so comfortable in all of the classes I attended and immediately felt the sense of community. The vast knowledge and depth of the teachers is awesome and the ability to try classes with different styles of teaching is great. Love spending time here!"

"I joined this studio about 6 weeks ago and have taken most of the morning and noon classes! I absolutely enjoy all of them. From restorative to the more challenging ones. The teachers are wonderful and ask individuals about any issues or areas they would like to work on. Am glad I found this studio and really like how the teachers make each class interesting."

"I really like this Yoga studio - they have a good mix of restorative and more challenging classes. Easy parking, nice clean studio and good class schedule. They have nice art work also - I got inspired to make a watercolor drawing based on the poster they have there."

"What a great place to "drop in" for a yoga class. Friendly, welcoming and the teacher Joel was knowledgeable and a good tone to his voice. Good vibrations flowing. I travel a lot for work, hope to make it back soon."

"I just had my first Yoga workshop EVER and it was wonderful!! I'm always self conscious about my size but everyone was very welcoming and no one really cared!"

"Absolutely love this place. Extremely qualified instructors, beautiful settings, clean quality props if you need them. My favorite instructors are Shaun, Joel, Jenna and Marissa. My practice has been taken up like 10 notches in the past couple of months I've been coming here."

"The House of Yogi is a gold mine of amazing teachers! I love to take class from each of the teachers because this studio allows them to create their own organic practice. There is no corporate structure dictating every sequence, word and piece of music. I also love that I found a non-heated studio with a cozy community charm. From the owner, to the teachers and fellow yogis I've met, I am happy the moment I walk into this intimate, little one room studio! One more major credit to House of Yogi is that even my husband has started coming to yoga and he really looks forward to the classes! Score!!"

"Yes! More! Yes! This studio has everything you need.. To start, the location is convenient and easy to get in and out. The studio itself isn't cluttered and exudes a particular feeling.. like being at a childhood friend's house... charming, quiet, but with character. It feels like a second home and has plenty of space for your practice. I've mainly been to classes with Shaun and like most people here say, the guy is amazing. Not only will you leave feeling completely refreshed, but you will have a greater understanding and purpose to your practice. Personally, I think he does a great job of explaining the poses, but not doing it in a disruptive manner. There's always a great flow to the classes and it feels like you are BUILDING something vs. repeating a set of postures. Can't say enough good things about this studio!! Do your mind and body a favor - check it out!!! "

"Wonderful studio and teachers! I have been practicing yoga for about 10 years, and since moving to OB/Point Loma hadn't found a nearby studio that I liked until now. My husband kept prompting me to try a studio close to home and I did elsewhere in OB about a year ago and it was too meditative/ohm(ish). I prefer a more intense workout/vinyasa flow, and Lauren really delivers that. I hope she gets more classes assigned to her :slightly_smiling_face: Joel is good too! Love the music, the vibe, the flow... all was/is good! I will continue here, thankful to have found a place closer to home that is equally as good as my old place!"

"I have been to many yoga studios in San Diego and House of Yogi is definitely one of the best in my book! The lineup of teachers here is just absolutely incredible and every class I've taken has been a wonderful experience. The studio has a really energy to it with great natural light and just the right amount of heat to not be overwhelming. Despite it being in a big shopping center, it is simply wonderful as soon as you step in the door, and it's great that there is so much parking! That is so rare. All of the vinyasa classes I've taken have had a good flow to them...and the restorative class (which I've never seen at other studios) will have you leaving feeling totally zenned out...or "yoga drunk" as we called it. Highly recommend this place to everyone from beginners to advanced yogis!"

"I'm pretty new to yoga and have had trouble finding a studio that "feels" good. I've experienced some good classes and teachers, but haven't found a studio that I would want to call home... until House of Yogi. It is conveniently located, has ample parking, and despite being in close proximity to a shopping center it feels like an oasis. It's open and inviting studio is just the rights size, the floor to ceiling windows give way to beautiful tree views, and most importantly it just has that great intangible "vibe" that I have been looking for."
